SAS East and FASTRAK Join Forces to create "ULTIMATE" Supers

$60,000 in point monies, 16 races in the books and drivers signed up!

Southern All Stars East and FASTRAK Join Forces to create the new ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series

Is it the right time to start a new series? We think so. The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will focus on several key issues that reduce the cost of Super Late Model racing. All engine types for the most part will be allowed to compete based on spoiler and weight. A economical tire rule will be in effect. Details to come forth soon.

$60,000 plus in cash and prizes in year 1

WOW! Over $40,000 in cash and another $20,000 plus in contingencies in the first year? That’s right! All within a 3 ˝ radius of Charlotte NC. The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series will cater to the fans and tracks in the SE with one of the largest point funds of any regional series, It’s sure to be a hit! Add to that fireworks, driver autograph sessions, the double file restarts and you are talking about the most exciting series in the SE United States!

Why the name “ULTIMATE”?

Why the name ULTIMATE? Because it’s just what it says! The ULTIMATE teams racing at the ULTIMATE tracks and venues in the Southeast with the ULTIMATE race formats for fans, the ULTIMATE point fund for the teams and the ULTIMATE sponsors supporting the series right out of the box. THIS WILL BE A SEASON TO REMEMBER FOR A LONG TIME, LONG TIME. It’s high time for “ULTIMATE” Super Late Model Racing!

Fan Favorite with double file restarts!

The “ULTIMATE” Super Late Model Series has been designed to be a ‘fan favorite’. ALL double file restarts! Not that sissy Delaware stuff, but the REAL DEAL!!! Races will be ran under the ‘choose’ format where starting with the leader every car in the field chooses low or high. In many cases the top five cars have chosen low with the 6th place car choosing high and going all to the way to the outside of the front row! There will also be marketing opportunities for the track as teams have agreed to do autograph sessions and display their cars in the local area of every race event. Fans will be treated to some of the best dirt racing in the country. Race events will also feature at track autograph sessions, fireworks and many other means of entertainment for fans of all ages!

So who will be racing in the series?

A complete list of drivers will be available very soon. Teams willingly signed written commitments to show their true interest in building something together benefitting all involved.

One note of interest is the father and son duos racing in the series. Take for instance Freddy and Jeff Smith and another duo is that of Trent and Petey Ivey. You won’t believe the complete driver list when you see it.

16 races are already booked. If you have an interest in a “ULTIMATE” Super Late Model Series event, or interested in becoming a sponsor with the series please contact one of the people below. Only 2 shows left for the 2011 season!

Jody Palmer (864) 784-1063
Timmy McAbee (864) 206-8702
Lennie Buff (864) 505-9199
Stan Lester (678) 935-7304
