Tickets on Sale for the Appliancezone.com Dirt Track World Championship
The 31st Annual Appliancezone.com Dirt Track World Championship presented by Lucas Oil Products is set for October 13th, 14th, 15th. This year’s event will take place at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio and will be the season finale for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series that pays $50,000 to the winner. Earl Pearson Jr. is the defending champion winning last year’s event at West Virginia Motor Speedway.
Carl Short has announced the ticket prices and schedule for this year’s event. Fans can save money by ordering advanced tickets. This year’s advance 3 day general admission ticket will be $40 with reserved grandstand seating $45 until October 1st. After October 1st and on race day a 3 day general admission ticket will be $50 with reserved seating priced at $55. Advance 3 day pit passes will be $50 until October 1st and $60 after October 1st and on race day. This year’s schedule of events gets underway on Thursday October 13th with modified qualifying, heat races and consolation races. Then on Friday October 14th there will be late model qualifying, heat races and the modified feature event. On Saturday October 15th there will be a special Appliancezone.com driver autograph session followed by late model consolation races, the Jim Dunn non-qualifier race and the 100 lap DTWC. Also included is an all-expense paid trip to the DTWC. The 2011 Chevy RS Camaro that is being given away will also serve as the Official Pace Car of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series in 2011.The winner of the contest will be announced on October 8th at the Dixie Shootout at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia. The winner and one guest will receive an all expenses paid trip to the DTWC at K-C Raceway in Ohio and will be presented the car on the front straightaway.
